- Eligibility: Individuals are eligible for special education support and / or services if they are found, through the evaluation process, that they qualify for services through one (or more) of the federally established 13 eligibility categories.

- Other Health Impairment
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Emotional Disturbance
- Speech or Language Impairment
- Visual Impairment and Blindness
- Hearing Impairment (NOT including deafness)

- Deaf-blindness
- Orthopedic Impairment
- Intellectual Disability
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Multiple Disabilities
- 13 Eligibility Categories:
- Eligibility Meeting:
- Representatives from the District will contact parents to discuss their evaluations. Typically, these meetings will have all professionals who completed the evaluations present to discuss their findings and determine eligibility for interventions and services.
- Maintaning Eligibility: Districts are required to repeat evaluations every 3 year to ensure the child is still eligible for special education supports and services.
